AIRJETS LOOMS Up To 1200 RPM Speed
|
Our top engineer, Turgut Gunder, was instrumental with putting together
one of the first digital woven label looms in existence! Back before the
digital craze really hit in the early 90s, textile looms received weaving
instructions from punch cards. As you might think, punch cards were an
instrumental breakthrough in the first half of the 20th century, but did
have drawbacks such as accuracy and speed issues not appropriate for
the 21th century. When computers were first able to send out digital
feeds, Mr. Gunder replaced (by hand) all of the controls with
electromagnets---thus allowing a smooth digital signal to control the
production of the high definition clothing labels you see today.
